Artist's Statement
My paintings are expressions of my constant pursuit to bring the natural world and the ideal into a perfect blend. My goal is to combine artistic expression of the natural world with belief into a statement of strength and purpose. Using a limited palette of black and white and single color, I work to convey the profound dream or essence. I resent artificial molding at the expense of originality. I oppose the sacrifice of theme for the pursuit of originality. I believe it is the goal of mankind to restore nature and oneself. As an artist the purpose of my work is to convey the essence of balance between nature and oneself.
